Tree removal and lopping
From $550 inc GST. Average $1,245.
Removal takes the whole tree down, in sections where space is tight, and our crane lifts it over buildings and powerlines when it has to. Lopping removes specific limbs or part of the canopy and leaves the tree standing.
Before any work we check whether your tree is protected by council, and help you seek approval if you need it. The timber is cut to length for you or taken away, and we clean up before we leave.
Pruning and maintenance
To AS 4373-2009. A 5 m tree from about $525 inc GST.
Pruning removes dead and unwanted branches to improve a tree's structure and encourage healthy growth. Trimming keeps its shape and is usually done once or twice a year. We can set a schedule for your species.
Over-pruning shortens a tree's life. We prune for health and structure, for looks, and for trees that pose a safety risk, and we're qualified to work at height and around low and high voltage wires.
Stump grinding
Three grinders, so there's one for every stump and every gate. Our largest reaches up to a metre underground. The grindings are raked back into the hole or spread on your garden beds.

Arborist reports by a Level 5 consulting arborist
Our reports are written by the business owner, a Level 5 (Diploma) qualified consulting arborist with TRAQ tree risk assessment.
Each report details the health of the tree and any safety risks it poses, such as large hanging or broken branches. Use them for council and development applications, insurance claims, or to decide whether a declining tree can be saved. Removal is always our last resort.
Crane hire, with operator
The Effer 525 6S knuckle-boom with heavy-duty fly jib reaches 35 metres, lifts 500 kg at full extension and 50 tonnes at 1 metre. It sits on an 8 m dual rear axle truck with a 2 m³ tray for waste. It does not come with a winch. We also use it to clear gutters on commercial or very steep roofs, from $1,250 inc GST.
Storm and emergency response
We deal with trees on houses, cars and driveways, and with standing trees a storm has left unsafe. Call at any hour. After hours it diverts to a mobile.
Warning signs after a storm: a new lean, broken or dangling branches, soil lifting around the roots, unusual movement in the wind. Keep clear, and leave anything near power lines to us.
Land clearing and earthmoving
For developers, businesses and landowners: a 16 tonne excavator, a 12 tonne drott and a 250 HP chipper that takes 24-inch material. We only clear sites with a valid permit and no protected trees.
Earthmoving covers driveways and house pads, dams and horse arenas, drainage, turf preparation, footings and trenching, and limited-access excavation. Our articulating loaders run on turf-friendly tyres.

What comes out of the trees goes back out as product. Call or email the office for prices and delivery.
Aged forest mulch
Chipped from our own tree work and sorted to keep palm fronds out. Delivered in bulk or picked up, and we can spread it.
Seasoned firewood
Split and seasoned for 18 months before sale, cut to size. Pick-up or delivery.
Hardwood timber
Log staircases, hardwood logs, stump pots, steppers, camp fire stools and Swedish candles.
Landscaping
Tree planting and transplanting, root barriers, garden beds and mulching, hedge trimming.
